After 27 years in the entertainment industry as a Script Supervisor, I realized I'd felt buried alive emotionally far too many times. I needed to take control over my reactions to the tensions and frayed nerves that so often accompany film and TV production and the oft insane conditions and hours we work that affected my relationships with family and friends.
I had an 'aha' moment that if I could manage my 'emotional energy', I could transform my experience and really have those joyous moments that first excited me in this business! With training and coaching I found myself able to handle difficult situations and people with more ease and grace, and ironically, found others behaving towards me in a way that was profoundly different and delightful. This kept increasing my joy of being at work! Finally I was in complete alignment with my heart and soul in both my work and my life.
As I started sharing these techniques with my colleagues, I began to watch their positive results and decided this information was too important to keep to myself. My goal is to have our entire industry benefit from this skill-building coaching so we can all have more enjoyment not only at work but in our personal lives as well!
While working in the industry I trained to become a Certified Coach to assist others with their job and personal growth issues, and more importantly, to help them find the harmony in their heart and soul.
